Rebers Riverside Wedding Full of Rustic Charm

Bride and groom stand with their foreheads together after their first look at their Rebers Riverside wedding.

Kat and Jon were such a dream couple to photograph. They’re full of personality, bring joy everywhere they go, and make everything feel like an adventure. Their Rebers Riverside wedding was a celebration I won’t forget anytime soon. Keep reading to see more of their day and why this venue is such a special spot.

The Moments that Made Their Rebers Riverside Wedding Special

I first got to experience Kat and Jon’s energy during their Cape Kiwanda engagement session, so I knew their wedding would be full of laughter and love. On the day itself, their personalities shined even brighter as they celebrated with their friends and family. Here are just a few of my favorite highlights.

Fully Themselves

Kat and Jon’s wedding was filled with moments that reflected who they are—joyful, playful, and adventurous. From sabering a bottle of champagne right after signing their marriage license to jumping into the lake during sunset photos, they embraced the fun of the day. Their childlike spirit and excitement made their celebration one-of-a-kind.

Personal Touches

Instead of fully following tradition, Kat and Jon created a wedding that felt true to them. Rebers Riverside, a rustic farm with mountain and river views, was the perfect wedding backdrop for their outdoorsy, adventurous spirit. They decorated each table with a different nature-inspired theme, including the coast, valley, and mountains and, during their ceremony, their dog, Hera, strolled down the aisle as their ring bearer. In place of a traditional wedding cake, they served cinnamon rolls, which was the perfect finishing touch to a day that truly reflected them.

Present with Each Other

Even amidst all the excitement, Kat and Jon carved out space to slow down and connect. Their private first look and heartfelt vows were filled with so much emotion and happy tears. Throughout the day, they stayed grounded in each other, and their love set the tone for every moment.

Kind Words from Kat + Jon’s Rebers Riverside Wedding

Working with Kat and Jon was such a joy. Here’s what they shared about the experience:

“I discovered Taylor accidentally on Instagram, and I knew immediately upon seeing her work that I wanted to book her for our wedding. What I didn’t know is how much fun it would be to work with her. She is so friendly and bubbly that she made our photo sessions feel very natural, like hanging out with a friend; but simultaneously, she also blends into the background while shooting, so it’s like she’s not even there. We were a little nervous about being camera shy, yet somehow she manages to consistently catch breathtaking photos without even cueing us that much. You can just tell that she loves her craft and her contagious energy makes the time fly.”

Kat and Jon’s rustic Rebers Riverside wedding was a perfect reminder of how special it is when you celebrate in a way that feels right for you. Their energy, their laughter, and the way they wove themselves into every detail made it unforgettable.
