There’s something about Central Oregon that always pulls me in. The high desert feels wide-open and expansive, especially when compared to the lush, green corners of the Pacific Northwest. Everything moves a little slower out here, and the landscape gives you room to breathe. That feeling carried through every part of Rebecca and David’s Brasada Ranch wedding. Keep reading to see more from their day and learn why this venue is quickly becoming one of my favorites in Oregon.
The Story of Rebecca and David’s Brasada Ranch Wedding
Rebecca and David traveled all the way from California to celebrate their wedding at Brasada Ranch, and as an Oregon wedding photographer, it was so much fun getting to show them this part of Oregon. Central Oregon feels different in the best way, and Brasada Ranch really highlights that contrast with its open desert views and mountain backdrops. Their wedding felt intentional and relaxed, and I loved documenting the day in a way that let those moments speak for themselves.
Details From This Brasada Ranch Wedding Day
Rebecca and David began their Brasada Ranch wedding day with an intimate first look by Trestle Pond, with the light reflecting off the water around us. After soaking in the quiet moment together, we wandered the property for portraits, taking in the wide-open desert views. Their wedding party soon joined in and, from there, we made our way toward the ceremony.
After their ceremony and cocktail hour, Rebecca and David had a private reveal of their reception space. Watching their reactions unfold as they took in all the details for the first time was such a special moment to document. Soon, guests arrived, and the evening unfolded with dinner, toasts, and dancing.
As the sun began to go down, we snuck away for a few minutes, soaking in the warm desert light and the sweeping views behind them. They ended the night with a cake cutting and time on the dance floor with their guests.

Why You’ll Love a Brasada Ranch Wedding
After experiencing Brasada Ranch for myself, I completely understand why Oregon Bride named it the “#1 Wedding Venue in Oregon.” The wide-open landscapes paired with its elevated, western-inspired design feel unlike anywhere else I’ve experienced. Here are a few reasons I think you’ll fall in love with this property.
Beauty All Around
The scenery at a Brasada Ranch wedding speaks for itself. To the east, the high desert stretches for miles. To the west, the Cascade Mountains rise along the horizon. Throughout the property, you’ll find countless photo locations that feel both open and intimate at the same time. Trestle Pond and Trestle Bridge are two standout spots on the property. They’re perfect if you want to feel tucked into nature while still being surrounded by wide-open views that stretch out in every direction.
Multiple Venues
Brasada Ranch offers several ceremony and reception locations, making it easy to choose a space that truly fits your vision. Planning a larger celebration? Wild Rye Lawn is a stunning outdoor option set against the Cascades, while the rustic-chic Barn offers an indoor-outdoor feel you can customize to your style.
If you’re planning a more moderately sized wedding, Trestle Pond is one of the most breathtaking spots on the property, with reflective water views and Oregon wilderness stretching into the distance. From there, you can head to Trestle Bridge for cocktail hour, creating a relaxed, memorable experience for everyone.
A Ranch-to-Table Meal
Food is a big part of the experience at Brasada Ranch, and it’s done really well. Seasonal menus are inspired by local artisans and producers, keeping everything fresh, thoughtful, and rooted in place. The menu is fully customizable, allowing you to create a dining experience that feels personal and intentional, just like your wedding photos.
From easy access to Mt Bachelor and Smith Rock State Park to onsite activities and amenities your guests can enjoy, there are so many more reasons why Brasada Ranch makes for an incredible wedding venue in Oregon.
