Castle Overlook Lawn
The Castle Overlook Lawn is one of the most iconic spots on the entire property and one of my personal favorite places to photograph the property. With an expansive and perfectly manicured garden, it’s full of timeless elegance and evokes a sense of grandeur at every turn. I especially love photographing couples by the stairs, with the Chateau as the backdrop.
Roman Statue Garden
The Roman Statue Garden at Chateau de Michellia wedding venue will make you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. It features a central fountain with stately figures on the perimeter, including Apollo, the god of the sun, and Diana, the goddess of the moon. It’s an ideal setting for portraits that blend classic artistry with romance.
Enchanted Shade Garden
This intimate space is tucked away under the shade of three maple trees and is the perfect backdrop for dreamy and ethereal photos. You’ll find beautiful blue hydrangeas and manicured greenery, as well as an ivy-covered swing. It’s beautiful and relaxing that’s equal parts serene and magical.
Grand Foyer
The Grand Foyer is the Chateau de Michellia’s main indoor event space, and features a classic white palette with gold accents for a truly luxurious feel. It also boasts several large windows, giving the space a light and airy feel. It’s refined, elegant, and full of timeless charm.


Chateau de Michellia Wedding Venue Styled Shoot
I had the opportunity to explore the Chateau de Michellia during a styled shoot and loved wandering the grounds, taking in the beauty of the estate. We began our session at the Castle Overlook Lawn, where the staircase beautifully framed the couple against the backdrop of the chateau itself.
We then moved to the Roman Statue Garden, where I got to capture the couple beside an artfully styled table among old-world statues and towering columns. The whole space felt incredibly classy and refined.
We also spent time in the Enchanted Shade Garden, which was lush, vibrant, and full of life. Watching the couple share quiet moments and swing beneath the maple trees felt like something out of a fairytale. The whole day felt truly magical and is an experience I’ll cherish for a long time.
