Mexico Destination Wedding on the Beach

Ever since shooting David and Jodi’s Cape Perpetua engagement session, I couldn’t wait to work with them again at their Mexico destination wedding in Cancun! I had such a blast capturing their special day in a place that holds special meaning to them. Continue reading to learn more about their wedding day and the perks of having your wedding in Mexico.

Jodi + David’s Wedding Day in Paradise

Jodi and David had such a dreamy wedding day! First on the agenda was capturing the bride and groom getting ready with their wedding parties before the ceremony. There were so many gorgeous backdrops throughout the resort, that I couldn’t put my camera down! Jodi and David then came together for first looks, couples, and family photos which are always heartwarming.

Next was their ceremony on the beach, which was seriously so intimate and beautiful. Helping couples capture cherished moments like this is what brings me to life! After Jodi and David tied the knot, I pulled them and their wedding party away for some sunset photos that I still can’t get enough of! After we took advantage of all the gold hour lighting, we headed to the reception in the ballroom, where the couple broke into an impressive choreographed first dance capped off with sparklers! The night ended with everyone celebrating and dancing the night away.
