They chose one of my favorite Columbia River Gorge venues – Rocky Hill and their day unfolded exactly the way they imagined. One of Katie and Jake’s biggest priorities for their wedding at Rocky Hill venue was to look back on the day and remember just how much fun they had. Their whole day was full of energy and laughter, especially during the reception. The dance floor was alive, the champagne tower pour was a real highlight, and guests had a blast in the photobooth during cocktail hour. The fun and excitement they hoped for were truly felt throughout their celebration.

Even with all the high-energy fun, Katie and Jake made sure their day still featured some slower, more personal details. Katie loves espresso martinis, so they were included throughout the day, from getting ready to the reception. Her bridesmaids also surprised her with a memory book, each page filled with notes and stories that made her smile. The mix of playful moments and intentional details made the day feel like a perfect reflection of who they are.

Tucked into the Columbia River Gorge along the Oregon-Washington border, Rocky Hill is one of my favorite wedding venues in the PNW. Part of its charm is how secluded it feels. Sitting on 13 acres of private land, you’re surrounded by forests with Mount Adams rising in the distance.
With room for up to 150 guests, the venue’s standout feature is its wedding deck. It lets you say your vows up against the tree canopy for a truly intimate experience with nature. The manicured lawns set against the trees are perfect for a first look or portraits, and if the weather doesn’t cooperate, there’s an indoor space that makes it easy to pivot if plans change
