Mt Hood Center Intimate Wedding

After a winter engagement session at Thunder Island, it only made sense for Rachel and Christian to hold their wedding at the lush and vibrant Mt Hood Center! They had the most special day with their closest friends and family which I’m still obsessing about. Learn more about this picturesque venue as well as the couple’s wedding below!

The Magic of Mt Hood Center

Located about 20 miles east of Portland, Mt Hood Center is a perfect wedding venue for those looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. This property is home to a variety of spaces, including a gorgeous annex patio, a serene meadow, an equestrian course complete with a beautiful trestle bridge and waterfall pond, and an intimate greenhouse perfect for those looking for a lush, garden party feel for their ceremony. They offer several packages and can accommodate parties of up to 450 guests.

The Story of Rachel and Christian’s Intimate Wedding

Before any of the guests arrived, Rachel and Christian started their wedding in private by having a first look and sharing their vows inside the greenhouse. It was a touching and intimate moment that seriously made my heart melt! Their friends and family soon took their seats and they had a beautiful ceremony.

Next was the cocktail hour outside, which featured Dash of Darling’s absolutely stunning decor and some special details by the bride herself. After enjoying fun drinks and taking photos under a neon sign of the newlywed’s last name, everyone returned to the greenhouse for dinner and speeches from the couple’s loved ones. Then, during golden hour, I was able to sneak Rachel and Christian away for some stunning photos around the property. Everything from the lighting to the backdrop was seriously so dreamy! After getting back, they cut their cake and enjoyed the rest of the night as a newly married couple!

I’m so grateful I got to shoot Rachel and Christian’s Mt Hood Center wedding! They are absolute rockstars and I loved capturing their special day.
