Casey and Jeremiah had the dreamiest elopement by Mt Rainier that I’m so excited to share with all of you! From hikes to picnics to musical performances, read on to learn more about this incredible elopement in the PNW mountains.
Casey + Jeremiah: Adventurers Through and Through
Casey and Jeremiah traveled all the way from Texas for their Mt Rainier elopement! While they had never been to Washington State before, this couple lives and breathes adventure. They got engaged in October 2022 during their second-anniversary trip to explore the U.S. Virgin Islands and were excited to journey to a new destination for their wedding day.
As a wedding and elopement photographer, I want to make sure that your day is as perfect as possible! Since Casey and Jeremiah traveled halfway across the country for their Mt Rainier elopement, I worked with them during the planning process to find the best locations and vendors, as well as walked them through the process to get the necessary permits to get married in Mt Rainier National Park. On the day of their elopement, I picked up their cake and brought some fun picnic supplies so they would have everything they needed to celebrate. And, since I also am a registered officiant, I even officiated their elopement – something I LOVE to do for any of my couples!
Casey + Jeremiah’s Magical Mt Rainier Elopement
After getting dressed in the parking lot, Casey and Jeremiah shared the most beautiful first look at the base of Mt Rainier. We then continued on for a short hike and found the perfect destination for their elopement ceremony and picnic. We had the spot all to ourselves and were able to take in all the GORGEOUS views of Mt Rainier. It was seriously so dreamy!
For their ceremony, Casey and Jeremiah shared heartfelt vows behind tears of happiness, exchanged rings, embraced each other with a kiss, and made everything official by signing their marriage license on the mountaintop. After the ceremony, we set up the cutest picnic and celebrated their love by popping some champagne! They then got comfortable on their blanket and read the sweetest letters from loved ones. I love how personal touches like this make friends and family who can’t be there in person a part of your special day – it’s something I recommend to all couples who choose to elope!
The couple finished their picnic with a fun charcuterie spread and cake cutting before we packed up and headed down the mountain. As we made our way back to the car, I couldn’t help but take photos of them all along the way! At one of the stops, Jeremiah strummed an original song for Casey on his guitar and then she serenaded him back! They are both talented musicians and it was seriously such a magical moment. To wrap up the day, Casey and Jeremiah shared a first dance followed by lantern photos during blue hour.
