Heartwarming Oregon Cliffside Elopement

River and Jordan’s Oregon Cliffside elopement was an intimate and beautiful experience. They actually came all the way from Canada to elope in Oregon, and spent their honeymoon taking a road trip along the coast! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate their love. River and Jordan’s Unforgettable Day on the Oregon Coast

I am absolutely obsessed with River and Jordan’s beautiful Oregon Cliffside elopement! Since these two were traveling to Oregon from another country, I was their point person. During the planning process, we worked on their elopement timeline and I helped them find all the local vendors they needed.

Their day started with a dreamy first look at their Airbnb. From there, we traveled to the cliffside for their ceremony and, let me tell you, it was seriously so perfect! First off, their dog Ruby got to tag along and watch her parents get married! Wags and Garland cared for her throughout the day, so she was able to stay with her parents the entire time. If you want to elope and bring your furry friend along, these guys are the the best! Another highlight of this Oregon Cliffside elopement was that I got to officiate River and Jordan’s ceremony! As an elopement photographer and licensed officiant, officiating for my couples is always a highlight.

After their ceremony, we headed over to Hug Point for an intimate picnic and cake-cutting. It was such a sweet time! We then spent the next couple of hours exploring and taking photos on the beach. Finally, the couple enjoyed an epic sunset over the Pacific Ocean to cap off their magical day.

Explore the Tide Pools

There are so many opportunities to explore the tide pools off the Oregon Coast! Destinations like Cannon Beach, Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area, and Cape Perpetua are all home to stunning tide pools. Spend your day discovering starfish, sea anemones, sea urchins, and other marine life!

Horseback Ride on the Beach

I can’t think of anything dreamier than a romantic horseback ride on the beach! Imagine feeling the ocean breeze on your face as you ride a horse with ocean views as your backdrop. Visit Oregon’s Iconic Lighthouses

Exploring Oregon’s beautiful lighthouses makes for such a fun elopement activity. Places like Cape Meares Lighthouse, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, and Heceta Head Lighthouse are all must-see destinations on the Oregon Coast. Some also offer guided tours that share their significance and impact on the state’s maritime history. Plus, the lighthouses are a perfect backdrop for photos!
