Enchanting Estes Park Wedding

The bride and groom kiss with mountains and forests in the background at Estes Park.

Sarah and Kyle were absolute rockstars when I shot their Mt Hood Engagement photos last year at Timberline Lodge, so it was a treat to see them again to capture their wedding! They brought the same energy and shooting their special day was seriously so much fun. Read on to learn and see more about their mountain wedding.

Della Terra: The Dreamiest Estes Park Wedding Venue

Sarah and Kyle are adventurers through and through, so the Della Terra Mountain Chateau was the perfect place to celebrate their lives together! About 70 miles northwest of Denver, this Estes Park wedding venue backs right up to Rocky Mountain National Park, so there are spectacular views all around. And since they only hold one wedding a day, you can rest assured that you’ll have a truly intimate wedding experience. It’s absolutely the perfect place for any couple looking for a dreamy mountain wedding and who wants to be surrounded by miles of untouched nature.

All About Sarah + Kyle’s Special Day

Sarah and Kyle began their Estes Park wedding day with each of their wedding parties getting ready for the ceremony. Sarah and her bridal party popped champagne, and she had a special first look with her dad and the girls! Let’s just say there were plenty of happy tears. After, she and Kyle shared their own private first look, followed by couple, family, and wedding party photos. One of the things I absolutely love about first looks is that you’ll get most of your photos done early, so you can relax and join your guests during cocktail hour, completely soaking in your special day!

After their photos were taken, the couple had their ceremony with the stunning Rocky Mountains in the background – arguably one of the most amazing perks of an Estes Park wedding. They then made their grand entrance during their cocktail hour, immediately followed by their first dance, as well as the father-daughter and monther-son dances. A highlight was Sarah and her Dad’s dance moves!

Following dinner and speeches was even more dancing. I absolutely loved the energy that everyone brought to to the party to celebrate Sarah and Kyle! During the partying, I was able to sneak the newlyweds away for some stunning sunset photos with Rocky Mountain National Park as their backdrop. After more celebrations, they ended their special day with a send-off featuring fun fiber optic wands. I couldn’t have imagined a better day!

I’m so glad that I got to shoot Sarah and Kyle’s Estes Park wedding – these two are seriously the best. For more mountain wedding inspiration, check out this North Cascades elopement at Artist Point!
