These winter engagement photos with Jenna and Max were full of adventure and some of Oregon’s best sceneries. I had a blast spending time with these two love birds and am so excited to share a little bit of their story with you today.
Jenna and Max’s Sweet and Intimate Engagement Story
While every engagement story is special, there is something to be said about quiet, intimate proposals. Not every love story will have an over-the-top beginning and I think that’s what makes each couple beautiful and unique. There is no right or wrong way to get engaged, there is only your way!
When they first inquired Jenna and Max shared a little bit with me about their proposal. The couple was taking a walk one night with their new puppy. They were strolling around talking and just enjoying each other’s company. The conversation shifted to rings and Jenna (who normally wears a few) mentioned to Max that she was still missing one on a very important finger. At that moment, she turned around and he was already down on one knee. Talk about crazy timing!
Adventurous Winter Engagement Photos at Latourell Falls
Jenna and Max were such a blast to hang out with. They were so easy to photograph and their love is evident in every single photo.
For their Portland engagement session, the couple chose Latourell Falls. Just a short drive from Portland, this Oregon waterfall is the perfect backdrop for moody PNW engagement photos. Plus, it also makes for a great winter engagement photo location. The waterfall is so stunning, and the walk down to the falls is super easy which makes it very accessible at any time of year.
After we spent some time exploring the falls, we headed over to Vista House to snap a few more photos at the end of the session. Vista House is a gorgeous viewpoint that overlooks the Columbia River Gorge and is a great place for tourists and Oregon locals alike.
