I don’t know about you but I love winter time! Cozying up by the fire with your partner and drinking hot chocolate (or hot toddies) is the perfect way to spend a cold, winter day! If you’re wedding vision consists of intimate, moody, cuddly vibes, then you should definitely consider planning a winter wedding! Brittany and Mara’s cozy Christmas cabin elopement at Mt Hood was all this and more!
A Cozy Christmas Cabin Elopement at Mt Hood
Brittany and Mara had the most perfect elopement day that included so many fun activities. The couple started their day with games and mimosas in their winter wonderland cabin. After a relaxing morning, they finished getting ready together. Before we ventured out into the snow, the couple finished writing personalized vows in their adorable vow books from You and I Created.
Eloping in the winter can be very cold, so we made sure to bundle up and grab our hand warmers, before trekking out into the snow. We snapped a few couple photos and found the perfect spot for their ceremony underneath the forest pine trees.
After they finished exchanging vows, Brittany and Mara shared some celebration cocktails on the patio followed by a cake reception set up on a beautiful winter tablescape with white and burgundy florals with gold accents. The couple shared an intimate first dance together before hopping into the hot tub for some steamy couple photos to end the night.
