This foggy elopement ceremony on the Oregon Coast was such a dream! The Oregon Coast is one of my favorite places to elope in the PNW. Keep reading to learn why and see more from this couple’s magical day!
Why the Oregon Coast is the Perfect Location for Your Elopement Ceremony
It doesn’t take long for anyone visiting the Oregon Coast to see what makes this place so special. From rugged cliffs overlooking the ocean to cozy forests, the Oregon Coast truly has it all and is the perfect place to plan an outdoor elopement!
First, the beaches here are incredible and there is such a variety of scenery depending on where you go! Some beaches are great for lounging, while others are better for exploring. Many of them are filled with lighthouses, rocky coasts, smooth beaches, and so much more! There are miles and miles of rugged coastline each with its own hidden gems scattered throughout.
Another reason to elope on the Oregon Coast is that there is an endless amount of activities nearby. You can go kayaking in the ocean, hike some of the many surrounding trails, go wine tasting in any of the nearby beach towns, or simply relax in a hot tub at your Airbnb.
These are just a few of the many reasons that make the Oregon Coast the perfect place to elope! Want to learn more about eloping in Oregon? Visit my Oregon Coast Elopement guide for more information!
Brandon and Jacob’s Foggy Elopement Ceremony on the Oregon Coast
It’s no secret that I love photographing elopements on the Oregon Coast! This section of the west coast has some of the best coast views and many locations can be pretty secluded, making it the perfect place to exchange your vows!
For Jacob and Brandon’s special day, we chose a location near Yachats, OR. The couple started with a first look at the rocky coast with sprawling views of the ocean behind them.
The grooms exchanged handwritten vows and rings at their elopement ceremony on the cliffs of the Oregon coast surrounded by the majestic rocky coastline. After their ceremony, the couple popped some champagne to celebrate and we spent a few hours running around taking sunset portraits.
