One of the things I love about being an Oregon wedding photographer is getting to see the different venues my couples choose for their wedding. Misty and Tanner chose to get married at Furioso Vineyards, a premium, organic vineyard in Oregon’s wine country, Willamette Valley. Everything from the getting ready details to the ceremony to the reception was absolutely immaculate.
How Misty + Tanner Chose Their Oregon Vineyard Wedding Date
Misty and Tanner’s intimate wedding date was very special to them. They selected a mid-August date based on the fact that there would be a full moon in the sky. Full moons were something that Misty and her late grandmother had bonded over and choosing to get married on a date with a full moon was one of the ways they could honor her memory.
A Beautiful, Intimate Wedding at Furioso Vineyards
Misty and Tanner’s intimate wedding day was so incredibly beautiful. The couple got ready at their wedding venue, Furioso Vineyards, surrounded by so many beautiful details.
They held a private first look in the vineyard and read personal handwritten vows to each other. This was such a special moment that they wanted to share just between the two of them and it was so intimate and private. Afterward, they shared a glass of wine together as they waited for their ceremony to begin.
Their ceremony took place on the deck of Furioso with sweeping views of the vineyard and Willamette Valley all around. Their nieces and nephews led the way down the aisle followed by Misty’s sister and brother-in-law and finally, Misty herself.
After the ceremony, the couple signed their marriage license before heading out to the vineyard for family photos and couples portraits.
For dinner, the team at Furioso had transformed the dining space into a beautiful, modern reception venue. The couple made their grand entrance followed by dinner, cake cutting, toasts, and dances with loved ones.
As their day came to a close, Misty, Tanner and I snuck back outside to look at the full moon and share another glass of wine.
Misty and Tanner’s Oregon vineyard wedding was so incredibly gorgeous. Furioso Vineyards made for the most stunning backdrop for this beautiful, intimate wedding and all the details came together so beautifully.
