One of my favorite ways to get to know my couples before their wedding day is through engagement sessions! Having a casual session before the wedding not only allows us to get to know each other but also helps couples feel more relaxed in front of the camera. Alyssa and Jade booked me for their wedding in 2023 and decided to take some Oregon engagement photos this summer. They wanted to find the perfect spot on the Oregon Coast and ended up choosing a beautiful beach near Manzanita, OR. It was the perfect location! The surrounding area included hiking trails, an awesome wooden bridge, and a gorgeous beach that is a huge surfing spot. We got such a variety of photos and hanging out with these two was such a blast!
How Alyssa + Jade Got Engaged
Jade and Alyssa had been dating for 6 years before Jade popped the question. She surprised Alyssa by visiting her in Dallas for a school event she had going on that week. While at a park, Jade proposed and the rest is history.
While these two love to travel, their favorite moments are simply spending quality time together. Whether it’s going on a hike or to the beach, finding new places to eat, relaxing and watching tv together, or bonding over their shared love of cats, Jade and Alyssa make the perfect team!
These two are so incredibly sweet and they absolutely brought the energy to their Oregon engagement session. It was clear to see their beautiful love throughout our whole time together.
