Engagement photo sessions are the perfect opportunity to get to know my couples prior to the wedding. I get to not only meet the couple but it’s also a great chance to learn a little bit about them before the big day. Sarah and Kyle are planning their wedding in Colorado next year so we planned a Mt Hood engagement session at Timberline Lodge. We explored some of the mountain’s beautiful trails and popped champagne to celebrate!
Sarah and Kyle’s Mt Hood Engagement Session
Sarah and Kyle are true adventurers. They both said that they knew they were each other’s person during an epic road trip through some of the United State’s best national parks so it was only fitting when they said they wanted to take engagement photos at a location that included a view of the mountains. Mt Hood was the absolute perfect spot!
Before heading out for photos, I met up with the couple at Timberline Lodge in Mt Hood, Oregon. We shared a drink together before hitting the trails behind the hotel.
We explored trails around the lodge, popped champagne, and watched the most gorgeous sunset over the mountains. Mt Hood completely showed up and was visible throughout the entire shoot.
Sarah and Kyle were absolute rockstars and brought all the energy to their session. I can’t wait for their wedding next year!
