Jenna and Max’s Mount Rainier elopement was absolutely incredible! Complete with a cozy cabin and gorgeous DIY details, this intimate mountain elopement was such a dream!
How Jenna + Max Planned Their Mount Rainier Elopement
I was so impressed with how Jenna and Max planned their Mount Rainier elopement. The couple coordinated everything themselves and paid attention to even the tiniest details.
For their winter elopement, Jenna and Max rented an adorable black cabin near Mount Rainer. The cabin gave off super cozy vibes, perfect for their Valentine’s day elopement. When I showed up at their Airbnb, Jenna had completely decorated the entire space. She had arranged her own flowers the night before and had also made a charcuterie board. To top it off, they had also made a white chocolate-covered strawberry “cake” all arranged beautifully on a gorgeous sweetheart table.
An Intimate Mount Rainier Elopement in the Forest
Jenna and Max started off their elopement day by getting ready in separate parts of the cabin. Jenna and I started off with a boudoir photoshoot while Max and their friend Winston shared a celebratory cigar. After they each finished getting ready, the couple did a first look at the cabin.
We all then traveled to a nearby park for the ceremony. We found a spot in the forest along a river that made for the perfect backdrop! Everyone pitched in to help set up the site and Winston saged the area. Jenna and Max exchanged beautiful personal vows, one of my favorite elopement traditions!
After the ceremony, Jenna & Max popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate. We took some couple’s portraits, but not before getting caught in a little bit of rain. This weather is typical in the PNW, but I love when couples embrace it and just go with the flow.
When we got back to the cabin, Jenna and Max shared their first dance. Afterward, they enjoyed strawberries from their “cake”, drank champagne, and read letters from loved ones while Winston played live music in the background. I personally love when couples read letters from loved ones. It adds such a beautiful touch and is a great way to create special moments when friends and family aren’t there to celebrate with you.
Before the night ended, Jenna and Max hopped into the hot tub for a steam session; the perfect way to end an elopement day if you ask me!
Jenna and Max, I am so incredibly honored to have been a part of your beautiful day! Congratulations again on your beautiful elopement and marriage!
